Adam Payne (Vocals, Acoustic & Songwriting) Payne hails from the North Shore, but came of age on the Gulf Coast of Florida. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Statistics from the University of Central Florida, a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology from UNC Charlotte, and is a licensed crowd-rockeroligist. Known well by close friends as a gentleman, a kind soul and an odd bird, Adam got an early musical start at the age of 8 when he learned to play the piano by listening to television jingles and video game tunes. The real music composition and songwriting began in college, where Adam would record his songs playing all the instruments, and distribute his bootleg-albums to friends, fraternity brothers and family. He formed his first band, appropriately titled the Adam Payne Band, in 2001, and has been going strong ever since, seeing success as a solo artist and in various band arrangements in North Carolina and many other regions in the US and abroad. A classically-trained vocalist with a penchant for chamber music, hip hop and soul grooves alike, Payne crafts his musical style like a chef does goulash - it's a lot of flavor at once, but it works. Adam's songwriting style is multi-layered, with powerful melodies focused around the groove, and thought-provoking lyrics dealing in areas of love, lust, loss, living life, and then some. Payne met Dehner in late 2005 at an open mic in Jamaica Plain, and found the musical connection which would give way to the 2ADAM12 experience. Adam Dehner (Guitar & Vox) Dehner hails from the West "Rocks!!!" Roxbury side of the tracks. Picture the love chile' of Mark Knopfler, Jimi Hendrix, and Trey Anastasio with a sunburn. He'll play his collection of killer axes with whatever he can get his hands on, including your beer if you don't keep a close eye on it! His crafted tone and scrumptous phrasing will make you sweat and beg for more.

Mikael Mersha (Bass & Vox) Mik is a native of Ethiopia who grew up on the North Shore and graduated from the University of Massachussetts. For the last 15 years, Mik has performed and toured in and out of the country with a number of spectacular groups whose stlyles range from R&B/Soul to Afro-Cuban Son/Salsa, African, Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, Rock & Blues. Mik met Adam Dehner when they were both part of the Son/Salsa string band Rumba Cuatro in 2000. That band didn't last but when the 2Adams met and decided to work together, Adam Dehner called Mik for a gig they had booked at Bentley College. It was plainly evident at the rehearsal that the 4 heads of 2Adam12 had a special chemistry and the core band was formed. Aside from playing bass & singing harmonies, Mik is an accomplished graphic designer/artist and producer. Currently, Mik is buiding a new home-studio, teaching and performing regularly in the Boston area.

Mark Purrington (Drums) Mark is from a little town called SPARTA!!!!!!!!!! . In the late 80's mark was in a successful heavy metal band called, Rusty Screwdriver. The band received high acclaim and were featured in the January 1987 issue of Rolling stone. Rolling stone had high hopes for the band and said they were going to be the next Zepplin. The band unfortunately broke up after only two years of touring, but mark's classic hit entitled "Get off my cheese wagon that Sh*%T ain't free" did not go unheard, the song still receives a tremendous amount of radio play to this day. Into the 90's Mark found himself lost inside a laser gate which led to his quick downfall into insanity. Mark went on to do 12 stints in a rehab correctional facility and spent 2 years in prison but somehow manage to escape. Where is mark now you ask? 12 years, a shave head and 14 tattoos later and mark is out playing music again with the great gentlegents of 2adam12.
